Without Limits Track Conditioning for the 2021 track season is designed specifically for athletes running the distance events. Track is highly beneficial to athletes of all sports. Training for distances 800 meters to 3200 meters will develop a high level of speed and endurance.
Registration will be open October 24-December 11. Conditioning officially begins November 30th and concludes February 20th at the Dorman Distance Carnival at Dorman High School in Spartanburg, SC. Immediately following the conclusion of conditioning is the beginning of the track season which will conclude in May.
Cost: $100/month. Cost goes towards coaching, t-shirts, and reserving Owens Track for a meet in the spring. Ask Coach Trey about discounted pricing for families with more than one athlete.
Practices will take place at various locations around Irmo, Lexington, and Columbia. Each week the athlete will receive mileage via Google Spreadsheet. Practices will include running, strength, core, and agility exercises. Practices start at 5 PM and will last no longer than 2 hours. Athletes and parents can email, text, or call Coach Trey with any questions and concerns.
Training under Coach Trey requires a high level of commitment to excellence and the willingness to give-up other activities to achieve one’s goals in the sport of distance running.
