The Panthers returned from the Upstate Friday evening with a sweep of the Easley Guardians. The Varsity Panthers junped to a 42-22 halftime lead and held on for a 66-55 victory. The Panthers were led by Jacob Stevenson with 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 assists. Jonathan Burke was 6 for 9 from behind the 3-point line and finished with 25 points. Benjamin Fryer added 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. The Varsity Panthers were a much improved 13-17 from the free-throw line and improve to 7-4 on the season. The JV Panthers outscored Easley 14-7 in the 4th quarter to secure a 41-35 victory. The Panthers were led by Seth McNulty with 18 points and Danny Waller with 12 points. Anderson Blevins added 6 rebounds. The JV Panthers improve to 2-3. The Middle School Panthers started the night off with a 44-29 victory over Easley. Josiah Wrobel recorded a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Samuel Miner finished with 15 points including 3-5 from behind the 3-point line. Banks Fryer added 4 points and 5 rebounds and Seth McNulty scored 7 points for the Panthers. The Middle School Panthers move to 5-2. The Panthers were back in action on Tuesday, January 7th traveling to Spartanburg to play the Carolina Chargers. Watch for results. All three teams play Thursday, January 9 at Tri City Leisure Center beginning at 5pm against the Lowcountry Wildcats. Come out and support PAC Basketball!
