Panthers Baseball Rolls to Second Consecutive Victory at NACA Tournament

NACA Tournament: Panthers (Varsity) – 18         Victory Christian – 0

The Panthers rolled to their second consecutive easy victory in the NACA tournament in Dayton, Tennessee beating Victory Christian from Gastonia, North Carolina by a score of 18-0.  John Edens pitched a two hit shutout; striking out two batters.  The Panthers pounded out sixteen hits in their victory.  John Edens helped his own cause going three for three with three RBI’s.  Daniel Reed contributed two singles and two RBI’s.  Cal Hucks had two singles and James Reed had a single and a double.  After two games, every Panthers but one has contributed at least one hit.  The Panthers play again on Thursday against Rhea County Christian Academy.
