PAC Yearbook Support

PAC Participants,

This year PAC has two new sports which were not offered last year. Thus, the yearbook will be expanding close to 100 pages if all goes as planned. That’s quite an accomplishment for our homeschooling group.

The yearbook is the one single dynamic that unifies all of the PAC sports, and showcases each and every player in one place. Not only does the yearbook feature each player and sport for PAC, but we work to make available a beautiful book full of memories that will be remembered and cherished for many years to come. Many of you may have purchased a yearbook when you were in school when you were a student. If so, you probably remember how often you looked at that book for many years. Your student or child will do the same and have those same fond memories.

The yearbook staff has been working their hearts out to help preserve those memories: taking individual photographs, action photo’s, designing the yearbook, interviewing coaches and students, planning, making contacts and working on getting details for the yearbook ready and to prepare for our Stay the Course fundraiser. All this will be followed by assembling, sorting, editing, design, layout, re-editing, proofs, uploading, etc., in the field and in the yearbook office.

Every year PAC student athletes and coaches look forward to being in the yearbook, to see the photos of their friends, coaches and to review the year just passed. All this to look forward to, yet we don’t have the full support of all of the PAC teams, parents and or their businesses.

Some of the sports offered at PAC require that parents be involved to help their sport raise money by working in a canteen, selling shirts, hoodies, restaurant cards, etc. To date the Yearbook has only asked that parents or students purchase the yearbook, advertise their business as a sponsor and participate in our fundraisers while the staff has done the work to offset the cost of the book.

We need your participation in the yearbook fundraisers and as sponsors! We are currently conducting a campaign to raise money to offset the cost of the yearbook for this coming year. Without your investment and participation in supporting the yearbook as a sponsor or participant in our fundraising events the yearbook may fall short of what we expect. We homeschool so we can exercise more liberty in our educational decisions. That liberty comes at a cost that only we can offset educationally and in our extracurricular activities. Please respond when the yearbook staff contacts you, and if they haven’t been in contact with you yet, please call me to discuss how you want to participate with us to create lifelong memories for your children and athletes.
