PAC Basketball Month in Review – Middle School

The Middle School Panthers opened their December schedule with a 31-15
victory over the Hammond 7th grade team.  Josiah Wrobel recorded 15 points,
6 rebounds, and 5 steals for the Panthers.  Seth McNulty added 10 points and
8 rebounds.   The Middle School team was defeated by the Lowcountry Wildcats
40-37.  The Panthers jumped to a 14-7 1st quarter lead but were not able to
hold on for the victory.  Samuel Miner scored 13 points for the Panthers
while McNulty added 12 points and 9 rebounds.  Banks Fryer grabbed 14
rebounds and added 4 points in the loss.  The Middle School Panthers closed
the 2013 portion of their schedule with a victory over St. Francis Xavier.
All 11 Panther players scored in the victory.  Making his first start of the
season for the Panthers, David Hucks recorded 6 points and a team high 5
rebounds.  Leading scorers for the Panthers included Chandler Zimmerman and
Cole Ihrie with 8 points each.  Other scorers included Nate Kindrick, Will
Owens, Jackson Gleaton, and Chalmers Rogland all with 8 points.  Rogland and
Avery Blevins led the defensive effort with 8 and 3 steals, respectively.
The Middle School Panthers move to 4-2 on the season.

All three of the Panther teams will be back in action on January 3rd versus
the Easley Guardians in Easley.
