Panthers dominant in win over Coastal

The Panthers varsity football team was dominant in their win Friday against the Coastal Hurricanes. The Panthers amassed 617 all purpose yards while scoring the second most points in program history. The PAC offense was led by Senior Ryan Brown who rushed 11 times for 217 yards and 4 TDs, while Freshman Jance Lamb added 108 yards of rushing and 1 TD and Senior Clay Youmans added 112 yards along with 69 receiving yards and 1 TD. Freshman Cam Youmans added the final Panthers TD on the evening.

The Panthers defense was led by Senior Clay Youmans who tallied 9 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 1 sack and 2 interceptions. Junior Jack Puffenbarger and Jance Lamb added 7 tackles each in the defensive effort. Seventeen different Panthers recorded tackles in the defensive effort.

The win moved the Panthers to 1-1 (1-0 in conference play) on the season after their season opening loss to Clarendon Hall. The varsity team takes the field this Friday in Mt. Pleasant against Palmetto Christian Academy at 7:30
