Football defeats Coastal, to play for SIFA title

The PAC Panthers football team defeated the Coastal Hurricanes 58-20 last Friday to clinch a berth in the 1st SIFA Championship Game. The title game against the Greenville Hurricanes will be held this Saturday (Nov. 20) at Lions Memorial Field (619 W. Buena Vista Ave., North Augusta, SC). The victory over Coastal was a total team effort, with the Panthers offense amassing 540 yards. On offense, a duo of freshmen led the way with Jance Lamb passing for 145 yards and adding 87 yards on the ground while Cam Youmans rushed for 132 yards on 14 carries. The defense was led by seniors Charles Pardee and Ryan Brown, each with 9 tackles. Seniors Jacob Hinds and Landon Gay each tallied 7 tackles while senior Clay Youmans had an interception, his 11th on the season (and 29th in his career).

Friday’s game also say Jance Lamb set the season record for passing yards (1,178 yds) while Clay Youmans broke the career rushing record (1,462 yds)
