PAC JV Baseball Hammers Low Country Wildcats

Panthers (JV) – 20           Low Country Wildcats – 5

The Junior Varsity baseball team struck early and often in routing the Low Country Wildcats in a game that was shortened to three innings due to the score. The Panthers plated ten runs in the first inning, seven in the second and their final three runs in the third.  The Wildcats plated a single run in the first and four in the third but the game was out of reach and ended early.

David Hucks pitched two innings allowing one unearned run on one hit. He had three strikeouts.  McKinley Procter pitcher the third inning for the Panthers allowing four earned runs on three hits.  The Panthers had nine hits in the game.  McKinley and Avery Blevins both had two hits with Avery’s hits including a double.  Avery, Whit Melnyk and Samuel Leslie all had three RBI’s.  David Hucks, Micah West and McKinley all had two.

Game Notes: The Panthers had 28 productive at bats.  The JV baseball team is now 1-1 on the year and play Gray Academy on Monday at Bray Park at 4:00
